Growing up in Calgary, Jace Litoski used to go to SAIT Trojans games in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference.
Now he’s getting the chance to play in the ACAC – with the Portage College Voyageurs this fall.
The Calgary native had three goals and 14 points in 37 games for the Creston Valley Thunder Cats this season. He added two points in six Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Teck Cup playoff games. Litoski is excited about playing for the Voyageurs.
“It’s nice to be able to play in the league, play against some of my friends,” he said.
Over three seasons, Litoski played in 113 regular season games and had 29 points. He played in 20 career KIJHL Teck Cup playoff games.
“All of my coaches pushed me to try to be the best player I am,” said Litoski. “It’s a much faster league and I developed my speed and awareness.”
