Thunder Cats & Storm to return to Calgary for Spring ID Camp from May 8-10
Tuesday, February 10, 2015 - Submitted by Creston Valley Thunder Cats

The Creston Valley Thunder Cats are pleased to announce that the team is once again partnering with the VIJHL's Campbell River Storm to hold a Spring Identification Camp in Calgary, Alberta from May 8th to 10th, 2015.

Registration for the camp is now open. For more information, visit the EVENTS PAGE on the Thunder Cats website or click HERE to be redirected to the registration page. If this is your first Thunder Cats camp, you will need to take 5 minutes to create an account.

The camp is open to all players born between 1995 and 2000. It will include a practice session as well as three games and an exit interview with Thunder Cats and Storm coaches. The cost of the camp is $175 for skaters and goaltenders.

All sessions will take place on the Red Arena ice at the Flames Community Arenas in Calgary, AB.

"We're looking forward to returning to Calgary in May after a very successful camp last summer," says Thunder Cats head coach and general manager Jeff Dubois. "We committed to five players out of last year's camp and had a total of eight players play for us this season who we saw there for the first time."

Alberta -- and Calgary, specifically -- have been prime recruiting territory for the Thunder Cats in recent years. This past season a total of eight players hailed from Calgary while three others came to the Creston Valley from elsewhere in the province.

For the 2015/16 season, Alberta residents born in 1997 or earlier are eligible to play junior hockey in British Columbia.
